Cancer Advocacy Masters Trainer Programme

Brief description or overview: This workshop will focus on training 25 Master Trainers in one of the following advocacy areas: Political, Education, Research, Fundraising, Support, and Community Outreach (with about four participants in each group). Participants will be selected through a rigorous screening process based on: (i) interest and involvement in advocacy; (ii) personal commitment to cancer advocacy; (iii) tangible goals and feasible plan to train a minimum of 100 advocates within two years; and (iv) evidence of organization’s commitment to meet advocacy training goals.
The application deadline has passed and candidates have been selected. The Cancer Advocacy Masters Trainer Programme is only open to these selected candidates.
