Bursaries
The organising committee for AORTIC 2013, taking place in Durban in November were pleased to present a bursary process with the goal of providing financial support for participants of the conference. Applications for bursaries will opened on 25 February 2013 and closed on 25 June 2013. Assistance of between $300 and $500 cash (in the current South African Rand equivalent) will be provided to successful applicants’ onsite at the conference.
The details of the Bursaries are laid out below.
- Bursary funding is dependent on the success of conference fundraising efforts.
- Submission of a bursary application represents no guarantee that funding will be given.
- Preference will be given to presenters of accepted abstracts and Africa-based applicants.
- Bursary applicants must register for the 2013 conference before submitting their bursary application.
Applications are now closed, and no further submissions will be considered.
Notice of Acceptance
Acceptance/rejection notices will be emailed to applicants in July 2013. If you have not received notification by mid-August 2013, contact the Conference Secretariat.
