The main objective of this session is to highlight best practices, projects and campaigns that support comprehensive, cancer patient-informed grassroots advocacy that prioritizes cancer control at the community and national levels. Session speakers will share their perspectives on the need to foster patient-powered partnerships from advocacy programs supported by the American Cancer Society. See here for more information.
NCI Implementation Science lunch session

This lunch hour talk will provide an overview of implementation science research for cancer control. It will provide examples from other public health outcomes and discuss what is and is not considered implementation science research. We will also present case studies and conversations about planning and conducting dissemination and implementation research to engage the audience in discussions about their specific questions in the important field in cancer control.
