The 15th African Organisation for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC) International Conference on Cancer in Africa will take place Hammamet, Tunisia, from

2 to 5 November 2025. The 2025 Conference will bring together multidisciplinary specialists from the global cancer community to reduce the impact of cancer in Africa.

The AORTIC Conference is an opportunity to present the work of the IAEA Technical Cooperation Program with Member States on cancer control related projects to a worldwide audience of experts and public health practitioners. The AORTIC Conference is a platform for innovative and interactive education and training across the full cancer-care continuum with the aim of raising awareness, building capacity, and making an impact across the African continent.

The IAEA encourages Member States’ counterparts to share their experiences and good practices during the AORTIC Conference. Through Technical Cooperation Regional and inter-regional projects on human health, the IAEA will finance the registration fee and participation costs for attendance to the Conference for a limited number of participants.
