A call for contributions to the programme is being issued – please see the Call for Abstracts here. We hope to attract a wide range of contributions from across the globe so please do not hesitate to make your contribution. Abstract submissions will be accepted from 10 February to 8 May 2015, and outcomes will be announced by July 2015.

Please see here the latest version of the provisional AORTIC 2015 Programme for information on the exceptional pre-conference workshops that will be held Wednesday 18 – Thursday 19 November. Over the coming months we will showcase some of these pre-conference workshops. Today, we bring your attention to the Global Cancer Advocacy & Action Workshop being hosted by American Cancer Society on Thursday, 19 November. This one day leadership and advocacy workshop (conducted in English) will cover how to:- Set achievable goals for a campaign
- Strengthen your organisation
- Mobilise constituents, build allies, and influence decision makers
The workshop will be limited to 30 participants, and five Global Scholars from low-to-middle-income countries will receive travel scholarships and complimentary registration to the AORTIC 2015 Conference. Aujourd'hui, nous vous présentons l’Atelier sur le plaidoyer & l’action mondiale contre le cancer qui sera organisé le jeudi 19 novembre par la Société américaine du cancer. Cet atelier d'une journée sur le leadership et le plaidoyer (animé en anglais) portera sur comment:- Définir des objectifs réalisables d’une campagne
- Renforcer votre organisation
- Mobiliser le public, trouver des partenaires, et influencer les décideurs
