HEADING

Social Programme

It’s not all hard work! The intention of the social programme is to introduce first-time visitors to the varied splendours of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. For those already familiar with Cape Town, various social activities will be designed for your relaxation and for networking with old and new friends.

  • A Welcome Reception (included in registration fees) will be held on Thursday, 25th October. This is an opportunity to meet up with colleagues and plan your schedule for the conference. The Organising Committee hopes to host this event at a venue that showcases Cape Town’s amazing views and allows delegates to orient themselves in the city.
  • A Gala Dinner (not included in the registration fees) on Saturday, 27th October will close out the conference in style. Delegates and accompanying persons can relax and enjoy an evening of gourmet cuisine and live entertainment

Accompanying Persons Programme

In addition to being invited to attend the Opening Ceremony and the Welcome Reception, the Accompanying Persons Programme may include such opportunities as a Cape Town orientation tour, a boat trip to the historic Robben Island, a visit to Cape Point, an excursion to the winelands, a township tour, or a trip to the top of Table Mountain. Cape Town also has numerous superb golf courses, shopping centres and places of historical interest in close proximity.
